It soon became clear to the Wumps, that their time here would be interesting but very hectic and possibly dangerous with all the traffic
and other visitors.
It would be very easy to get trodden on or run over, after all, a Wump is not easy to see or for people to
know what they are, how easy it would be to be picked up and thrown away with the rubbish.
They found their way to the Houses of Parliament and managed to get into the public gallery. What a shock, MPs were giving a speech to an almost empty house. It seems that MPs only have to turn up if they feel like it, regardless of how important the speech may be. The Wumps found this too boring and so left to stowaway on the London Eye, which was very exciting and they could see a long way along the route they had taken, was that Windsor Castle in the distance? They also took time to think about their journey so far and decided to try to find somewhere where they could settle down for the rest of their lives, or at least most of it.
From the London Eye, they returned to the river and used their log to travel further down the Thames avoiding the commercial barges and the pleasure craft.
The Wumps travelled quite quickly due to the tide going out,
which meant they soon came upon the most odd and wonderful building they had ever seen. This was the Dome.
It occurred to them both, that this was where they could spend the rest of their lives, even better, they had heard that the Super casino may open there.
What more could you ask for, warmth, lots of room and the chance to try to win some money, using the odd coin that people were sure to drop, yippee! After they had made themselves comfortable, imagine their disappointment when the news reached them that this idea had fallen through. They then heard news of a take over of the Dome and so would start a new part of their life.
